The thing I love about Winter is that I seem to always have tickets to go and watch lots of gigs – I even christen October as Rocktober every year to celebrate this.
But what is a gig without a rock chic outfit to go with it?
Me and my sister worked some laid-back rock looks at a recent show…
Try rocking up a maxi like me by teaming it with biker boots and a studded belt. This newspaper print maxi is from BooHoo.com and the biker boots are from a market stall.
Here, I am wearing a gothic maxi skirt from Primark and a plaid shirt also from Primark, the lace body is from Asos. My fringe bag was a steal at £14.99 from H&M.
Kirsten is wearing converse (a gig essential!), Topshop bodycon skirt and a fierce t-shirt from celebrity favourite Wildfox.
How Excited are you for this?
Fearne Cotton was spotted filming the next series of her ‘Fearne and…’ ITV reality show with fashionista Mischa Barton and judging by their outfits it looks like it will be a fashion feast for the eyes.
The last series managed to shine a positive light on stars such as Paris Hilton so lets hope this series will show us the true Mischa and not the troubled star the tabloids have portrayed for a while.
The fashionable pair are already transforming Summer trends into A/W looks.
Like Fearne, work your summer maxi with a pair of lace-up Brogues and if you have gorgeous pins like Mischa, dress down your city shorts with a floaty 70s style blouse.
Sale season continues as ASOS open their up to 50% off sale.
My eye is on this Odyssey Print Maxi Dress. Now £39 reduced from £60, this dress is quite edgy with the cutout detail and the colours are rocking the oceanic trend.
Get there quick before all the good stuff goes!

My eye is on the leopard print maxi – it would be perfect with gold chunky heels and a lot of bangles.
Dresses above range from £50 – £100.

If you haven’t embraced a maxi dress yet then what is wrong with you??
The trend got quite popular last summer as ‘the’ holiday look but now the maxi dress is way more versatile and isn’t just for the beach.
This Pucci inspired maxi dress is only£30 from New Look, pair it with a cropped denim jacket for a perfect beer garden look.
Like other SATC fanatics I let out a massive scream of excitement when this poster hit the internet.
Not only has the poster reminded fans that the movie is now only a month away but it has also given us another glimpse of what fabulous fashions we can look forward to.
The sequel sees our favourite girls jetting off to Abu Dhabi and after seeing Carrie work this maxi dress I want to book a Middle Eastern retreat of my own.
