I have absolutely abandoned FashionCrunch as of late – which I apologize for but I have been a teeny tiny bit busy so unfortunately my blog did suffer as a result.
Well, where to begin – I last left the blog during my internship in London at SheerLuxe.com – an amazing online fashion directory ( I recommend you all checking it out – if you have not yet done so!). After completing the internship – and having a pretty grand time – I moved back up north to the beautiful land of Warrington (note there is no sarcasm in my tone – I love my northern home). After moving back I landed the role of Junior Copywriter for an online marketing agency. Currently a week in, I am really enjoying it and can’t wait to get cracking.
I will be back on full form soon and really eager to start adding a few outfit posts of all my newest looks and – as always – keeping you all in the loop on my bargain finds.

I want the HAWT COUTURE tee, NOW..please
Fish and Chips, the new black
So continuing my fave fashion moments I have just unearthed this beauty. Some may look at it and think faux pas but I can’t beat a bit of tartan (I was born in Scotland cha’know). This was taken on a voyage to Blackpool one weekend with the boyf in ’06 (crikey, that was a hella long time ago!) . I have an addiction to anything with a skull print – one day I WILL afford an Alexander McQueen skull scarf, but until then this old NewLook scarf will be my saviour….now where did I last see it?
Think I am starting to have a bit of a fashion crush on this lady. Shunning Spring’s muted tones, Mila went all out in a fierce scarlet Alexander McQueen maxi. Deffo my style winner from the SAG awards. Minimal accessories to let this wild dress do all the talking.
I loved this girl after seeing her on That 70s Show and cannot wait to see more of this rising star’s looks…stay tuned peeps!
Katy Perry reveals artwork for her new single ET and dayum she looks hawt!
So award season has officially begun and kicking it all off in Tinsel Town was the Golden Globes last night.
Now, I have no idea who was nominated/ who won and all that jazz but I do know is what the glitterati were wearing (‘cos lets be honest it is all about the clothes really, isn’t it).
In the celeb world where nude has been the outfit tone du jour for such award events, it seems the colour taking centre stage now is green.
Green with Envy: Angelina Jolie, Cathering Zeta Jones and Mila Kunis at the Golden Globes
Angelina, CZJ and Mila looked absolutely stunning in their emerald toned dresses (seems this colour really pops on brunettes so best believe I will be investing in one too!)
Megan Fox looking flawless at the awards ceremony
My hair favourite of the night was Megan Fox who rocked a dramatic side part with classic waves that are scream old hollywood glamour.
Uh-Oh...nipple daisy disaster for Hayden Panettiere
It was a case of ‘so close yet so far’ for Hayden Panettiere with her nipple daisy disaster frock – she would have looked the height of sophistication if it hadn’t been for that malfunction.
My fashion fave of the night is Anne Hathaway, her shimmering bronzed gown makes her look like the glamazon that she really is.
The outfit to cause the biggest stir in the papers today was Helena Bonham Carter’s bedraggled look. Sporting a Vivienne Westwood dress that’s on the right side of kooky, Helena managed to ruin it with her crazy specs and mismatched shoes.
Known for not following fashion norms, Helena may have thought this outfit was her way of not putting much effort in, in my opinion she would have had to put more effort in – I mean, she bought two pairs of shoes so she could mix and match…everyone else only had to buy one pair
