Barry M Nail effects

Don't worry, I know my nails totes clash with my bag but that's just the kinda girl I am x

Meaning to blog about this for a while now so here goes – Barry M Nail Effects nail varnish is totally the best thing ever.
Being someone who has quite a low-key beauty routine (I’m hopeless at false nails, hair extensions – the whole shabang), I completely fell in love with Barry M’s easy to use Nail Effects. Simply apply a base coat, wait to dry obvs, and then put one coat of Nail Effects over the top. At first you think “what the frig have I done?” as it just looks like a big black blob on your previously perfectly manicured talons but a few moments later the nail varnish separates and creates a cracked effect. Perfect for leopard print or graffitti inspired manicures, I went for a red base to try out a Ladybird look and loved it! Next time I reck I am going to apply a bronze colour so I can have leopard print claws.
My advice is to apply a clear coat over the top as mine chipped quite quickly.

In mascara we trust

In a world plagued with adverts that boast full volume lashes but have footnotes such as “styled with lash inserts” and “modified in post production”, it is hard to find a mascara that you can trust or one that will actually work – without falseys or CGI, that is.

Therefore it is refreshing to find a mascara that is both a bargain and gets the job done.

Introducing Primark’s 9 1/2 Winks Extreme False Lash Mascara (yes, Primark do make-up). This beauty gem is only £2.00 and creates volume and length without any clumpy build-up.

For such a low price I am definitely stocking up.

Topshop Make Up

Yes, it’s official – Topshop have launched a make-up range.

The range, featuring bright eyeshadows and outrageous lipsticks, will be available in May and is rumoured to sell out quickly.

It is surprisingly cheap with prices from £4 – £12, I have already got my eye on one of the eyeshadow duos.
