Christmas: One day – A hellaload of outfit dramz

My dilema at the moment is trying to suss out an outfit to wear for Christmas day.

How can it be during party season when every high street shop worth its salt is flogging cheap festive dresses that I remain unable to locate a dress ideal for xmas day? I know it may sound like an easy purchase to make but it is no good just buying a dress with a reindeer on, I’m a girl who favours fashion versatility and what good is a festive dress come January 1st? So, my plan is to ditch the sequins and baubles in favour of something that I can style up to look xmassy for now and come 2011 I can re-work it with a whole new swagga.

Spanx pants why doth you reveal thyself?

At the time of year when we have all overindulged with mulled wine, more Terry’s chocolate oranges than you can count and of course Turkey best believe I do not want something figure hugging when I am tucking into my Xmas dinner. Spanx are the best thing since sliced bread but there is nothing attractive about the familiar sound of elastic pinging as one adjusts the waist of their faithful stomach holding in pants. Bearing this in mind, I decided to try and find something not too body-con so I have a bit of give after feasting.

I will let you know how I get on with my hunt – granted I am leaving it a bit too late but here’s hoping!

Jared Leto – Style Icon

There is something you need to know about me, I am a maahooosive 30 Seconds to Mars fan. I became obsessed with them in 2006 and have been a strong follower of them ever since. After meeting them in person twice and following them on their tours, I can admit I am a little bit fanatic over the amazing band fronted by the ever so awesome Jared Leto.

Due to my obsession, I have dedicated this week to follow them on their UK tour, I have seen tham at London O2, Birmingham NIA, Aberdeen AECC and Manchester Central.

At the O2 show I was ever so lucky to get to the front and managed to get some amazing pictures of Mr Leto sporting new blue locks.

So close I could have touched him – well could have done if it wasn’t for his bodyguard!!

Jared is a big fan of changing his hair style on the regular so here are some of my favourite Jared hair looks:

Mohawk, blonde and now blue – what hair style will he think of next? And will the legions of Jared wannabees be following him and grabbing the blue hair dye?  Here’s hoping!

Daily wish list

Next has gone all Halston Heritage on us with this gorge orange dress.

The bright colour and the pleats are reminiscent of the Halston Heritage dresses that Sarah Jessica Parker loves so much. At £65 it is the perfect designer copy-cat for a bargain price.

However, if you are feeling generous you could donate some pennies to help me buy a real Halston Heritage dress, for £730 from NET-A-PORTER this is the same dress SJP wore to the NYC Met Ball
