Stalk their Style: The Like

With their 60s influenced style and lashings of eyeliner, this fashionable girl band are haute on my fashion radar.

All styled by the band’s drummer Tennessee Thomas the band embrace the 60s theme in their music as well as their fashion.

However my favourite fashion starlet of the group is Bassist Laena Geronimo, awesome name and an even more awesome sense of style…she has got me running for the liquid eyeliner and scissors…chunky fringe needed ASAP

Nordic knits

It is time to face facts – summer is over so  it is time to knit up your look.

Inspired by Dolce and Gabbana’s Autumn/Winter2010 show, high street stores are coveting nordic knitwear.

For that snow bunny look, this £21.99 knitted dress from New Look would look perfect with chunky heeled hiking boots and a fur jacket (faux, of course!).

Cher really can turn back time

Wowzer!! Looks like Cher has discovered the fountain of youth after wearing an outfit to the VMAs which she wore 20 years ago!

Cher looks amazing and it is hard believe this diva is 64-years-old – come on Cher whats your secret?

Cute biker jacket too.

Student fashionistas

Fabulous fashion news for all you academics: ASOS are now offering a discount of 10% for all NUS student card holders.

What better way to use your discount on this black maxi – perfect for working the massive long/short trend that is about to hit the high street.

Geeking up has never been so chic.

Carne de Lady Gaga

You have to hand it to Gaga – the second you think she has worn her craziest outfit yet she never fails to disappoint with the next.

Her royal Gaganess features on Japan’s Vogue Hommes styling an outfit made entirely of raw steak.

Its shocking, statement and strange – everything we expect and want from our favourite starlet.

…I think I will be keeping my meat on the plate though, not a trend I can see catching on.

Fashion goes TopGun

The Burberry A/W2010 catwalks were littered with the new ‘it’ jacket – The Aviator.

But no worries as you don’t need a designer income to achieve this flying fashion look.

This jacket should be your number one autumn investment and many high street retailers such as River Island and ASOS are already offering their take on the trend.

My favourite is this £59.99 jacket from River Island. It would look great with jeans and biker boots for a casual look or toughen up a floral dress by layering it over the top.
